Hoppy Easter - an eggstra special party using Neat and Tangled | Laureen Wagener

Hi crafty friends!
Today I am up for a party - so why don't you join me in celebrating an early Easter party!

I am joining the awesome new challenge over at Neat & Tangled - the Throwdown Party Ensemble challenge!

How fun is that?! I love party decorations and themed parties - my pinterest board is full of amazing ideas I have yet to finish ;)

Because Easter is fast approaching I decided to give it my best and use the CUTEST easter themed stamp sets to create my party - Cottontail Cutie and Eggstra Special are my main focal point.
I also threw in some other Neat and Tangled products into the mix to finish everything up!

My baking may not be the best and most fancy looking - more like a poo on my cupcake - but they were yummy nevertheless and have the cutest embellishments to go along my Easter theme!

I started by preparing a banner for my cake - I created scalloped circles, folded them in half  and adhered little elements fromCottontail Cuties and then used the Egg from Eggstra Special in between each scalloped circle.

I decided to create little signs for each main sweet dish using the sentiments from the stamp set naming my items little bunny related things - so I have a "chickie" cake, "cottontail cutie" cupcakes and "hunny bunny" cookies!

My cupcakes are topped with little cupcake toppers that feature the cute bunnies from the Cottontail Cuties stamp set - they are each holding one of the small embellishments and look so cute peeking out behind the frosting of the cupcake!

I created some bunny shaped cookies - so the name "hunny bunny" cookies match absolutely perfect! To create the signs I cut some cardstock and folded it in half, did some ink blending and attached the name that I stamped on vellum onto my girl that carries the wagoon with the eggs.

How could it possibly be a party without cute milk bottles all dressed up?!
I created a sleeve for those, used a scalloped circle on top of a vellum circle and attached one of the girls from Cottontail Cuties on top of that. The color of her coat matches so perfectly with the color scheme of the party!

As an eyecatcher for the party I created a card/ sign that I can also send to a friend!
I used the Nesting Hexagon cover plate die and embossed that onto a piece of cardstock by using a silicone embossing mat for the BigShot.

Then I used some Distress inks to blend my background and to make the design of the cover plate pop. I attached my girl on a grassy mat and used some trees and a little bird from Lumberjack love to finish up the card!

As a finishing touch I was missing something in the background - so I created a banner that reads "Hoppy Easter". I hung it up in the background and love the pop of color it brings and by using a bunny girl again it ties everything together!

Now I really hope you enjoyed my little party and I got you inspired for your next Easter get together with friends or family!
Have a great day and happy crafting!

Love you with Altenew and Pinkfresh Studio | Card

Hi everyone!

Today I thought I'd share a card I have recently made with you!
I used the beautiful Floral Background stamp set from PinkfreshStudio for my image and then the Label Love stamp by Altenew.

I stamped the background onto some watercolor paper and heat embossed it in white.
I used Prima Watercolor Confects in Tropicals and colored all the florals in bright spring colors and then to make the colors really pop colored the background in a very light grey.

To add some interest to the colored panel I cut it down, so it would be a strip in the middle of my card and used a edge die from Avery Elle that also adds a stitched detail.
My sentiment  is from the Label Love stamp set by Altenew, which I stamped in Versafine Onyx Black Ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Have a great weekend,

Pink Paislee Guest Designer - Let's travel

Hi everyone - can someone please pinch me?!

This moment is so surreal and amazing at the same time! I am one happy girl and extremely honored and excited to be over on the Pink Paislee blog to be their guest designer for Travel Week! You can read the entire post over on the blog by clicking - here - and also read a little more about me ;)

Now first off all - how amazing is it to be guest designing for Pink Paislee? It's my dream come true!
Pink Paislee is one of my favorite scrapbook brands and I am obsessing over their blog and all the projects their team always comes up with.

Then Paige asked me at the end of July if I would like to guest design - ehm how could you say no to that?! I was jumping up and down of excitement - and it was 7 in the morning, so pretty early for me to jump around, but I really did!
And can we all just take a moment to appreciate the amazing theme of the week for my guest design - Travel! Could it be anymore perfect? I just love to travel and scrap those pictures and so it was basically a match made in heaven!

Here are the 3 layouts I made for the post along with a few close-ups.

Next up - I have my card. I actually made 4 more that I will share throughout the month!

And last but for sure not least - my altered project/ or minialbum!
I decided to bind a book - yes you read that right , a real coptic bound book with wooden covers and charms to jazz everything up and I am in love!
At first I thought it would take ages to bind but it wasn't too bad - I purchased the amazing online class from Paige {which you can get - here - } and worked alongside her and it came together rather quickly and actually looked good! I am already planning my next book to bin - because even though you may not even use them, they just look extremly pretty to display in a shelf!

Thank you so much for reading the post and a massive THANK YOU to Paige and Pink Paislee for letting me take over the blog today and be your guest designer! I had so much fun making the projects and love every single thing!

Ready, set, snow {Lawn Fawn}

Hello there!

I wanted to show you the other card I created during the crafty christmas session I recently had with my best friend. Uhh what do you think of a "Crafty Christmas" series here on the blog? Let me think about that ;)

Today's card features the adorable stamp set "Ready, set, snow" from Lawn Fawn.

I used some Stickles to add a little interest to the scarves and think it just looks so cute!
The background was made with Distress Inks and I colored the snowflakes back in with a white gel pen.

For the background of the card I used the Woodgrain Backdrops and stamped it in Versamark to give it a tone on tone look. The paper is from an old christmas collection from Echo Park Paper. I just tied some twine around and the card was done!

I hope you like it.

Warm Wishes {Lawn Fawn}

Hi there and welcome back!

Today I am showcasing the very first christmas card for the approaching season of joy and love! I am literally way too excited for the holidays - I just love them!

With the holidays approaching you can never start creating your cards too early, right?!
My best friend and I had a crafty session last weekend and I created two cards using Lawn Fawn prodcuts - which I just LOVE!!

The card features the stamp set Love you a latte from Lawn Fawn, and it is so super cute!

I used the mug with the hot chocolate and marshmallows inside, colored it in with my Copics and added the cute candy cane :)

Wink of Stella topped it and makes it look even more cute!
The sentiment is white heat embossed onto the patterned paper from an old christmas collection from Echo Park Paper :)

I hope you like it!

Hi you guys.

I finally got to some time to create cards again - I was absent for a really long time due to my studying.

Best Friends Forever

 Hi you guys!

I know I haven't posted in a while, but I was so super busy and so I figured the schedule of posting every Wednesday and Sunday is perfect for me.
Every Wednesday there will be card and every second Sunday a Plan With Post. Also I opened up a Youtube Channel where I will post videos coordinating with the post.

For this card I used Mama Elephant again :) I used the adorable set "Tree Friends" and "Hunny Bunny" for the sentiment. For the backgorund I used Distress Inks and the flowers in the tree are colored with Stampin Up! Markers :)

I think you're super duper in every single way

Hi y'all!

It is me again, with another card featuring my all time favourite stamp set.
Guessed it? Tiny Heroes from Mama Elephant! So, so cute and very versatile. I just can't get enough of these cute little super heroes.

The card I created is a girly super hero dressed in pink with glitter and a light pink background. So, so cute :)
